We are seeking extraordinary FORM 4 GRADUATES who face extraordinary challenges & yet have extraordinary talents
& extraordinary dreams.

OUr unite scholar program is highly competitive. We accept form-4 graduates to support for a-level education at quality government schools in tanzania and often well beyond into university and other avenues for tertiary-level and graduate education. our SELECTION criteria includes:

  1. Must have proven excellent scores (e.g. Division 1) on his/her Form 4 national exams.

  2. Must submit all report cards, a teacher reference, and at least one character reference.

  3. Must prove financial need (parents to submit income, a Unite rep to visit family, review financials, etc).

  4. Must submit a written essay statement of intent and be interviewed by Unite.

  5. Must submit a video in which the candidate speaks directly to our Scholars Committee.

  6. Must submit a statement from parents or caregivers with a signed commitment to offering full support of the candidate's education in all ways possible.

  7. Must submit a detailed budget.

  8. Must sign all Unite Scholars contracts.

  9. Must be able and willing to communicate with the Scholar’s assigned mentor regularly via phone, email, and WhatsApp.

  10. If selected, must attend regular mandatory Unite Scholars Trainings.

  11. Must submit quarterly reports to Unite in partnership with the Scholar’s Mentor.

  12. Must be willing to work with Unite team members in Tanzania upon request.

  13. Must be willing, if invited, to serve as a mentor to new Unite Scholars over the years to come.
